Focusing on biotechnology, medical systems, Health Industry Bar Code (HIBC) and microstructure technology, we are building bridges between Europe and Japan by providing technology and solutions offered by high-technology companies and research organizations both in Japan and Europe.

 

With our office located in Berlin and our partner company in Tokyo, we guarantee short-distance communication and immediate response to our customers and partners. Since our foundation in 1998 by Dr. sc. nat. Michael Becht, we have been keen on introducing applications for leading-edge technologies.

 

The Steinbeis network consists of more than 5000 experts from all over the world, being at your service in more than 700 Steinbeis companies and Transfer Centres (“STC”s). Being a private company, the Steinbeis GmbH & Co. KG for Technology Transfer runs without any government subsidies, and each one of the Steinbeis Transfer Centres is playing its role as a financially independent profit centre.

 

From February 2006 until July 2009, we have been members of the Q2M consortium, a project co-funded by the European Commission. Within this project, we could deepen our knowledge about the microsystems market and microfabrication  technology significantly.
